Laser Cut
Our acrylic letters are meticulously cut by laser cutting machines, ensuring crisp, clean edges and flawless detail.
Made from Perspex® acrylic sheet
All acrylic letters are produced from premium cast acrylic sheet made here in the UK by Perspex. Perspex acrylic is a high quality, durable material with excellent weather resistance ensuring longevity and resilience against the elements making our cut letters suitable for both indoor and outdoor use.
Cut to Size
Perspex cut letters are produced cut to size allowing the flexibility to order the exact size required.
Range of colours and finish
Choose from an extensive vivid colour range in finishes including gloss, matte, tinted, frosted, fluorescent and metallic.
Optional self-adhesive backing
For easy installation make use of our optional self-adhesive backing. Letters are supplied with high quality self-adhesive backing in place suitable for both indoor and outdoor use.
Please note: If opting for clear or tinted materials, self-adhesive tape maybe visible through the material.
Letter Sizing
Letter height is measured from the top of the highest letter to the bottom of the lowest. E.g. If entering the word 'Simply' at a height of 100mm, the distance between the top of the 'S' and the bottom of the 'y' will be 100mm.

How delivery is priced
Delivery is charged on the longest side of your panel, rather than its area or weight.
A sheet measuring 1500mm × 1000mm is priced on its 1500mm side; a long, narrow strip of 2200mm × 150mm is priced on its 2200mm side. Whichever single dimension is longest sets the price.
Only one delivery charge applies per order, however many pieces you order.

Next-day delivery
We don't offer next-day delivery online due to the volume and the bespoke, made-to-measure nature of the orders we handle each day. If you're working to a deadline, get in touch — we'll do everything we can to meet it.
UK remote areas
Because we supply made-to-measure products, we offer delivery at standard national rates wherever we can. A small number of locations cost us more to reach, so a remote area supplement is added automatically at checkout:

Locations that may incur a supplement include the Channel Islands, Isle of Man, Isles of Scilly, Isle of Wight, the Scottish Islands and Highlands, remote areas of Scotland, and Northern Ireland.
In rare cases, an order to one of these areas may be economically unviable to fulfil. If that happens, we'll always contact you first to discuss options before taking any action — we won't simply cancel.
Third-party deliveries
Some products are dispatched directly from the manufacturer via a third-party courier. Where this applies, it's clearly stated on the product page under the Delivery tab.
Can I collect my order from Simply Plastics?
Yes, of course. Orders can be collected from our premises in Colchester, Essex. At the final stage of the checkout process there is a delivery option labelled "Collection/pickup" which is free. Once your order is complete, you will be notified by email along with our address and collection times.
I need my order urgently, can I pay for faster shipping?
Yes. We offer an express delivery service which aims to deliver all orders in 1-3 working days. Orders are delivered by a recognised courier company and may require a signature on delivery.
Where do Simply Plastics deliver?
We deliver across the UK, to 12 European countries (Austria, Belgium, the Czech Republic, France, Germany, Greece, Ireland, Italy, the Netherlands, Poland, Portugal and Spain) and to the United States and Canada.
International orders are placed through our dedicated regional stores, with pricing in your local currency and all import taxes and duties settled at checkout — so your order arrives with nothing more to pay. EU businesses with an EORI number can also choose to act as the importer of record.

Do you have a minimum order charge or small order fee?
This is a question we are asked fairly regularly due to the previlance of either a minimum order charge or small order fee within the industry.
At Simply Plastics our approach has always been to treat all orders equally, small or large. We want all customers, new and existing, to be able to place orders with us confident that they are only paying for the products and materials that they require. We therefore do not have a minimum order charge or small order fee.
How are acrylic flat cut letters created?
At Simply Plastics we have both CNC lasers and routers which enable us to cut acrylic into the most intricate of shapes, including letters, numbers and characters.
How do I fix/mount acrylic letters?
We offer the option of ordering acrylic letters supplied with a self-adhesive backing, however it is also possible to use almost any non-solvent based adhesive or tape to mount your Perspex letters. Please see CT1 Adhesive & Sealant for a non-solvent based grip adhesive or this 3M Double-Sided VHB Tape suitable for both indoor and outdoor use.
How do you clean Perspex letters?
When cleaning acrylic letters be careful not to use harsh chemicals that can negatively affect the appearance and longevity of the material. To keep your acrylic lettering looking fresh and in great condition, simply clean with a soft microfibre cloth using a mild mix of lukewarm water and washing detergent. To give your acrylic extra shine consider Vuplex Plastic & Anti Static Polish.
