The only reason for marking it down is that there were no instructions on how to affix it nor on which adhesive to use.

I used this product as a “bling” rear upper chassis spacer in my Arrma Kraton EXB 8s 1/5 RC car. After some minor modifications it fit in position perfectly and looks amazing. The spacer not only looks good but will help to distribute landing force over a much wider area thus the requirement for a light, strong but flexible material type. Really good company to deal with as other companies only deal with bulk orders.

Not used the sheets yet (they will form the front and back of an electric guitar I’m building soon), but they arrived promptly considering they are “made to measure”. I think it’s worth mentioning I had a small problem with another sheet I ordered however after showing them the issue, it was promptly replaced. In my opinion this is the true measure of customer service, not when all goes to plan, but how efficiently it is resolved, hence the five star rating. 👍🏻

I have used Simply Plastics on a number of occasions to make some cabinet doors, this time, I used 2 large pieces of Perspex for a bed headboard.
The Perspex was cut precisely to the measurements I supplied, this was very important as the Perspex had to fit into a recess, the end result was superb and transformed a mundane headboard into a real high end product, which perfectly matched our sliding doors.

I have several types of acrylic sheet in colour and black. I use them in photography to give colour back grounds and the black for mounting prints. I have used Simply plastics for a number of projects now. I am using the acrylic sheet as a surface for two bedside tables, protecting them from spills and water rings left by glasses. Easily removable if ever damaged. I have even been able to bend acrylic sheet 90 degrees to form a top in our bathroom by using a hot air gun. Very versatile stuff!

Ordered two black panels. One as a splashback behind our hob and the other as a cover for the kitchen table. Easy to clean, super glossy and sized accurately.
Splashback simply installed with a little grab adhesive and looks great.
The table now looks black mirrored and classy though if ordering again I would request Simply Plastics to radius the corners as it's such a precise cut that they are quite sharp.
Both panels excellently packaged with great protection and delivered promptly.

We have recently revamped our kitchen, the carcasses were still good so we changed all the cupboard doors from maple to a high gloss white and laid new flooring.
After searching for a material for the plinths and kickbacks, the high gloss finish of the 3mm black acrylic has proved to be perfect for the job. With Simply Plastics supplying sheets cut to the exact sizes required it made fitting so easy.
Some of the exposed cabinet sides were the same maple affect as the original doors, these we covered with the 3mm high gloss white acrylic which has given us the perfect finish we were after.
We highly recommend the quality and finish of the Acrylic supplied, the finish achieved is outstanding.

The acrylic was less than half the price of the glass and looks really good. I also went for the polished edges. I needed some upstands to complete my kitchen upgrade. After a lot of thought I decided to use acrylic, its a material I am familiar with so should be ideal. When i took my bathroom radiator off i found that the tiles were up to and not behind the radiator brackets,this left two rectangular holes.As i was fitting a new chrome towel rail radiator i needed something to cover the holes.I ordered 5mm thick gloss white plastic cut to same dimensions as the towel rail.

We bought a sheet of 5mm thick white acrylic to go on the top of a coffee table that we had. It was cut to size, was was a perfect fit. Be advised that the edges are quite sharp. I highly recommend Simply Plastics. Fast delivery & good communication.

I brought this as a replacement glass table top for a garden table. The delivery was a few days late but this was due to the top being scratched in production and it having to be remade. Which I did prefer to it being sent out damaged and it having to be returned. Overall very pleased.

My son had damaged the top of his bedside cabinet, holes, scuffs, stains and the sides were peeling off. I ordered a piece of gloss for the top, brought a roll of tape for the sides and within a few minutes he had a great looking bedside cabinet again, for a fraction of the cost of a new one. I wanted to waterproof a small area around my sink. Couldn't be bothered with tiles, so decided to go with plastic sheets. I needed three different shapes/sizes and thicknesses. I emailed Simply Plastics with lots of questions in advance (e.g. can I drill extra holes in the middle of the sheet when I have worked out where they need to go?, etc.) and got very prompt and detailed responses. My only quibble would be that once I had placed my order I had no idea when it was going to arrive. It eventually arrived, well wrapped and in perfect condition. Would recommend and would use the company again.

I used my sheet in the garden to hide an ugly piece of wall. The wall was curved and by using the thinnest material, I was able to bend the product and fix it to the wall with no problems. The staff I spoke to on the phone were very helpful.

One piece that I ordered (3mm black) was used for an additional instrument panel in a new motorhome - to match the existing black perspex touch sensitive panels just to one side. Very smart it now looks too... The second piece (6mm black) was to make a sink cover to expand the work area in the motorhome's galley area. Again in black perpex. The manufacturer's optional extra was priced up at over £150!!!! With Simply Plastics we don't need to deal with those prices!!

I bought a piece of black acrylic as an extension to an inadequate bathroom, basin splashback.
It was cost effective, attractive and has done the job.

We used the high gloss acrylic sheets (5 of them) as splash-backs behind washbasins. They came ready drilled with nicely finished, polished edges and were easy to fix in place with mirror screws. Much cheaper and quicker than tiling and no grout to become discoloured.

Used as an inlay to a small table next to a sofa. It was to match a coffee table that had 2 black glass inlays. Lasered out a large hole in table (20mm thick), fitted in a tight fit of wood (15mm thick), dropped in your black (5mm thick) acrylic dead fit. Cannot tell the difference. Brilliant job !

I required a smallish sheet of 8mm thick black acrylic to be fabricated (by another company) into a small monitor riser. Not many places stocking 8mm in black, and the ones that did were wanting more money, plus they were charging ridiculous delivery fees.
Simply Plastics dispatched the acrylic sheet within just a couple of days, and it arrived in perfect condition. It had been cut millimetre perfect and all the edges were beautifully smooth (I'd paid extra for diamond polishing).

We used acrylic sheet as a wetwall for our shower. It was perfect. Great glossy, quality surface, easy to file off the edges, and not too heavy to handle. We went for the 6mm, which we wouldn't do again, as we couldn't get corner trims etc. in 6mm. Best stick to 5mm. Stuck it to the wall with Evo-Stik's, 'Sticks Like Sh*t'.

I used this product as a bath panel to replace a gloss white painted MDF panel, the MDF panel got water in and eventually started to go bad.
This sheet was cut perfectly to size as I specified and the polished edges were perfect.
Overall this was a great purchase and I would highly recommend simply plastics.
