I'm an experimental artist. I stood the three short, different diameter, tubes on a canvas and poured different coloured acrylic paint into them. I chose the clear tubes as I could keep tabs on the colours I'd already used. The full tubes were then carefully lifted so the paint could spread across the canvas in a controlled way. I found all three tubes to be sturdy, steady, well cut and excellent for this procedure. I will continue to experiment with them and would recommend these products to other flow artists.

Glass shelf supports for display cabinet. A good solution for supporting extra shelves within an existing display cabinet. My only criticism is that it is quite an expensive way of supporting three shelves but the quality is good and the service was excellent, delivered two days after order.

I have a steam boat which uses drip feed lubrication from brass oil pots. This works fine but you cannot see how much oil is left in the pots without taking the lids off (and they can get quite hot!). I thought to replace the brass pot bodies with clear acrylic tubes instead, retaining the brass lids to retain the vintage appearance. Simply Plastics provided exactly what I needed, cut to the size I wanted and the order came by return of post. This was excellent service and I cannot rate them too highly.

I bought this as a replacement for a glass inspection part of a florin stick barometer reservoir the glass one are about £70, in acrylic far cheaper and not as fragile, the service from emails and phone call were excellent, postage next day, full recommended will definitely use again, if you don't see it ask? jimmy *****
